Catering2U now offers a range of gluten-free fingerfoods on our Premium Fingerfood menu.

New Fingerfood item - Moroccan Chicken kebabs
Catering2U has added a new item to its Premium Fingerfrood menu ... Moroccan Chicken Kebabs. (Click image on RHS). These consist of succulent moroccan spiced chicken breast segments with capsicum. They are tray served .... fresh from our hotplate.
World Youth Day 2008 pilgrims in Wollongong
Catering2U staff were delighted to be asked to cater for a wonderful group of pilgrims staying in Wollongong as part of their World Youth Day tour. All travelled from California USA in a group tour organised by Harvest Pilgrimages. Catering2u prepared hot breakfasts on several mornings and also spit-roast dinners on two evenings.
We were particularly pleased to witness cultural differences that we have not experienced before. Every morning, very soon after breakfast had started, they would break into their song of prayer. One of their aims was to stay in Wollongong rather than travel to Sydney each day so that they could share their culture and religion with the locals. The Illawarra Mercury even ran a story on two of the group. (click on the image on right to read more) On at least one morning & one evening they walked as a group through the streets of Wollongong and beachside singing and playing their instruments and drums as they strolled. Wollongong was enriched by their presence. Residents along Cliff Road would not have needed their alarms on the morning they went down to watch the sunrise over the sea (something we take for granted on the Aussie east coast but on-the-other-hand, we don't have the opportunity of seeing the sunset over the ocean).
We send our best wishes to a few people in their group who left contact details. Hello to group organiser Monica Conway of Colorado, and Californian pilgrims Teresa Ruiz, Diego & Angela Calderon & Nicolas & Jessica Ortiz.
Harvest Youth Tours later wrote to us with the following message:
"We are so grateful for your co-operation. WYD 08 has been such a huge event for Australia and thanks to you all it has been a great success .... so many young people were so impressed with Australia!! I hope you had the possibility to see some of these young people in the streets singing and dancing and fulfilling their Mission of evangelising.

You may consider a Catering2u hot breakfast to start the day's events off in the right way. It may be a good way to ensure everybody arrives on time. That may be followed by a rotisserie spitroast lunch. Imagine the aromas of the roasts wafting into your meeting area as lunch-time approaches.
